Training potties are fantastic for many reasons (because they're the right size for small bottoms and short legs, because they come with princesses on them, etc.) but I never thought I'd have to carry around so much pee.

I recall a story from a Jr. High School English teacher about her handicapped sister and how the sister would see them picking up the potty to dump it and would want to help and do the same but every time the sister picked up the potty she'd spill it and the carpet continually smelled like pee.
ReplyDeleteWho was that teacher? She was a redhead and I think it was 8th grade.
I do not remember that story, but it's both tragic and amazing that they kept letting her help because she wanted to do what everyone else was doing. It's hard to be a child who isn't allowed to do what the adults do, but it's probably even harder to be a child in an adult's body.
